First look at Amber Riley in Dreamgirls

The long-awaited production will open in the West End in December

Production images have been released of Amber Riley and the rest of the cast in the new production of Dreamgirls, which opens in the West End in December.

Riley plays Effie White in the piece, which charts the story of a female singing trio from Chicago called The Dreams in the 60s and 70s.

Riley is joined in the piece by Liisi LaFontaine as Deena Jones and Ibinabo Jack as Lorrell Robinson alongside Joe Aaron Reid as Curtis Taylor Jr, Adam J Bernard as Jimmy Early and Tyrone Huntley as CC White.

The production is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw.

Dreamgirls runs at the Savoy Theatre from 14 December and is currently booking until 6 May.
