First look at Aaron Sidwell and Amelia Lily in rehearsals for American Idiot

Rehearsal images have been released of the cast of American Idiot which opens at the Arts Theatre 17 July.

As previously announced, Amelia Lily and Aaron Sidwell are to lead the cast of the award-winning Broadway musical – which features the music of Green Day with the lyrics of its lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong.

American Idiot is the story of three boyhood friends, each searching for meaning in a post 9-11 world. Its hit songs include "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "21 Guns," "Wake Me Up When September Ends," "Holiday" and the title track "American Idiot".
