The hills are alive: Sarah-Louise Young as Julie Andrews

Julie Madly Deeply, a light-hearted tribute to Julie Andrews, is coming to Trafalgar Studios 2 this Christmas following a run at this summer's Edinburgh Fringe.

The show, written and performed by Sarah-Louise Young, "intertwines Julie's songs from musicals including Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady with stories and anecdotes, from her beginnings as a child star to the challenges of losing her singing voice."

Young has previously appeared with cabaret troupe Fascinating Aida and improv musical specialists Showstoppers.

Directed by Russell Lucas, Julie Madly Deeply will run at Trafalgar Studios 2 from 25 November 2013 to 4 January 2014.

It's produced by James Seabright by arrangement with One Eyed Man Productions.
