7th Season of Firsts For Linbury Studio Theatre

The Royal Opera house has announced a seventh season of Firsts, the programme of experimental work by young and emerging artists work. All performances take place in the Linbury Studio Theatre.

The season will features three programmes and some 12 artists working in a variety of styles, including contemporary dance, circus, live art and physical theatre. There will be a new ROH2 commission by choreographic duo Vera Tussing and Albert Quesada.

Firsts was initiated in 2003 by The Helen Hamlyn Trust with the Royal Opera House with the dual purpose of providing artists working outside Covent Garden with a showcase, and to introduce Opera House audiences to emerging talent.
