Winners announced: The 2013 Tony Awards

The winners of the 67th annual Tony Awards were announced yesterday in New York. See the winners and follow our tweeting from the night here

The winners of the 2013 Tony Awards were announced last night (9 June 2013) at Radio City Music Hall, New York. Tim Minchin‘s Matilda won four awards including for both Scenic and Lighting Design. Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper‘s Kinky Boots was the biggest winner of the night, winning six gongs including Best Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical.

The revival of Stephen Schwartz’ Pippin also won four awards, including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for Patina Miller. The Tony Award for Best Play went to Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. See below for a full list of winners.
