According to the Mail, Billie Piper is set to make her return to the stage, opposite Oliver Chris in a satirical play about the Leveson Inquiry written by Richard Bean.

Piper, who was nominated for the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actress for her performance in the National Theatre production of The Effect, and Chris, who is currently playing Prince William in King Charles III at the Almeida Theatre, have been working with Richard Bean and Nicholas Hytner, "who will direct the play that emerges from the development work."

The play, which is untitled at present, is currently in the workshop stage but will premiere at the National Theatre this summer.

Apparently all involved in the production have been required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, so further information is scarce at the moment, but stay tuned for updates.
