The full cast has been confirmed for the forthcoming West End transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre's revival of Bertolt Brecht's The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui.

The production, which stars Henry Goodman in the title role, opens at the Duchess Theatre on 25 September (previews from 18 September).

Other principal cast members reprising their roles in the West End are Keith Baxter, Michael Feast, William Gaunt and Joe McGann.

The play, a satire on Hitler's rise to power, is set in Chicago in the 1930s, where Arturo Ui and his mob of gangsters run protection rackets for both workers and businesses. Soon Ui's menacing shadow looms large, from the markets, to the docks and across the city itself.

Jonathan Church's production, first seen in Chichester last summer, will return to the Minerva Theatre from 15 August to 14 September 2013, prior to its West End run.

The cast is completed by Mark Carlisle, Alex Giannini, Amanda Gordon, Charlie Hamblett, Lucas Hare, Hugh John, Richard Mark, Lizzy McInnerny, Peter Moreton, Steve Simmonds, Colin Stinton, David Sturzaker and Benny Young.
