Darlington’s Jungle Book

The Birmingham Stage Company is to present Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale The Jungle Book at Darlington Civic Theatre from Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 May.

In the depths of the Indian jungle a young boy’s life is being threatened. Mowgli has been raised by a family of wolves but now Shere Khan the tiger has sworn to kill him. It is up to his friends Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther to save him by taking him to the man village.

But the journey through the jungle holds many dangers and surprises for them all as they make new friends and enemies in an evening of songs, dance and wonderful puppetry for the whole family.

This is a retelling of a much-loved story of friendship, endurance, trust, and of growing up.

Tickets are priced from £9 to £12.50. Call the box office on 01325 486 555 or visit the website at Darlington Arts.
