Hidden Glory Explores Science at Lowry

One Woman show Hidden Glory reveals the life and work of one of Britain’s most eminent scientists: the Nobel-prize winning chemist Dorothy Hodgkin. From a spoilt frock in Suffolk to a medal in Stockholm, the play shows how her personal and scientific lives were fully intertwined, and explores the passions that underpinned them both.

Instead of being loosely based on the Scientist’s life, the play is in her own words.

Miranda Cook stars as Dorothy and the play is being staged at the Lowry’s Studio Space as part of Manchester’s Science Festival.

Hidden Glory is at the Lowry Studio for one night on 25 October.
