Contact Theatre is known for staging innovative productions and next week We Can Be Heroes utilizes interactive projection, film and music.

The play reaches into the heart and mind of a man who fears his life will never change. Having been an only child and living in arrested development he employs an older brother to teach him his sibling past. They embark on a journey together which shifts from a simple contract to a story of commitment, emotional responsibility and psychological danger.

Set within a labyrinth of wool and moving screens, you explore the inner workings of a man striving for success.   Company FZ's unique fusion of theatre, visual art and circus inspired choreography. The show includes a specially devised music score by Brighton based band The Hat.

Company FZ was founded by Flick Ferdinando and John-Paul Zaccarini in 1998 with the creation of the award winning show ‘Throat’.  During the past 10 years they have continued to create productions which push the boundaries of cross-disciplinary theatre, including: Loser, La Boite Bleue, Besame Mucho Cabaret and Horse. The work is challenging, sensitive and passionate. Whether driven by a strong narrative or a distinct visual style their work is grounded in its emotional content, often moving seamlessly from comedy to tragedy.

We Can Be Heroes runs at Contact from 1 - 3 October. Tickets are priced £10/£6 concessions.
