Messrs Comedy Bring Sketches to Salford

Messrs Comedy play two dates at Salford’s The King’s Arms next week. They were formed in 2009 by Hugh O’Shea and James Britton. Following a successful pilot show at the Camden Enterprise the company took their unique brand of sketch comedy to the masses.

2011 has been a busy year for Messrs Comedy, having performed a series of brand new shows to sell out audiences at the Leicester Square Theatre. After a year touring London, Messrs Britton and O’Shea come back to where it all began – Manchester!! The two former MMU students hope to have people laughing in the aisles.

Expect the weird and wonderful as we delve into the lives of some strange characters;
From the love struck ‘Bus Driver’ to the Crime fighting ‘Lunch Lady’ with asbestos hands!

Messrs are the only troupe in town to mix audio material, snappy one-liners and dark character comedy and they bring their unique brand of Sketch comedy to the King’s Arms for two-nights-only!!

They describe the show as having “free programmes” too! The shows last for one hour.

Messrs Comedy are at The Kings Arms on 10 – 11 August.
