Over 45 years after Judy Garland and her daughter Liza Minnelli performed together at The London Palladium, these iconic performers are back together again thanks to JL Touring in Association with Ash Productions Live who present Judy & Liza, a sublime musical experience reinvented for 2013. Judy & Liza will be coming to Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre on Saturday 29th June for two spellbinding performances.
Written by West End star and Liverpool native Emma Dears and directed by Rita Henderson, Judy & Liza features the music and stories of the two women who became synonymous with musical theatre and features live performances of all of your favourite Judy and Liza hits including “Cabaret”, “Maybe This Time” and The “Man That Got Away.” Vocals are provided by Emma Dears and fellow West End Star Lucy Williamson (We Will Rock You, Fame. Their performances are intertwined with images of Judy and Liza, whilst Emma, as Liza and Lucy, playing Judy, tell the sensational stories of the lives of two of the world’s most legendary stars of stage and screen.
