Five Reasons To See … The Enough Project

The Enough Project is a unique double-bill and features work by two writing talents from the North. Brimming by Emma Adams and Something Right by Cathy Crabb. We caught up with Cathy for her five reasons why you should go along. 1. For two reasonsBrimming and Something Right. The Enough Project is a double bill of very different plays in style and content that manage-although we worked completely separately writing them – to have many cross overs and comparisons. They are our responses to one word – Enough.2. For nine reasons Produced by Dep Arts, directed by Alan Lane, designed by Barney George, performed by Russell Richardson, Jo Mousley, Lauryn Redding and Terrance Rea, written by Emma Adams and Me.3. For important reasonsThe plays are the result of years of discussions on many topics and these are threaded within the stories creating textures and layers within these simple tales. One idea apparent in both stories is- what happens when thoughts are contained and repressed, and what happens when they become distorted and confused?4. For secret reasonsIn this production there are some ingenious surprises. You will have to see The Enough Project to find out what they are.5. For no other reasonThan to be entertained by an excellent team who love telling a good story. The Enough Project is at the Lowry from 20 – 22 June.
