Win! Rusalka (Opera North) tickets

This competition is now closed and winners have been emailed.

Opera North’s Rusalka follows in the footsteps of Ruddigore which received rave reviews. How would you like to win a pair of tickets?

THE SHOW:
Olivia Fuchs’s production of Rusalka reveals all the tragic beauty of
Dvořák’s operatic masterpiece: as Anna Picard wrote in the Independent
on Sunday, ‘fascinating, well-directed, expertly sung and acted . . .
this is another unmissable production from Opera North.’.

Suffused with music that is by turns earthy and ethereal, the opera relates the story of a water nymph who yearns to be part of the human world. The haunting score is famed for water nymph Rusalka’s poignant “Song to the Moon”, and this production is altogether a spell-binding experience.

Opera North’s production of Rusalka, will be performed at The Lowry, Salford Quays on Thursday 17th June at 7.00pm.  It is sung in English.
