Five ways to still see theatre when you're skint

It’s January, no one has any money. But that doesn’t mean you have to wait until the next payday to go to the theatre

The leftover turkey has finally been eaten, the last drop of Baileys has been sucked out of the bottle and all your decorations have been taken down. It's time for you to admit, Christmas is officially over.

All you are left with is a bigger belly, a mince pie addiction and a hefty credit card bill. To top it all off, the thought of not being able to afford a trip to the theatre until March sends shivers down your spine.

But do not fear, your trusty friends at WhatsOnStage thought we'd put together a list of PHB (Post-Holiday-Blues) busting ways for you to get your theatre fix on a shoestring.

1. Barclays Front Row – £10 tickets at the Donmar Warehouse

Every Monday at 10am the lovely people at the Donmar release front row tickets for the wallet-saving sum of £10. Tickets do go very quickly, so make sure you are on the site at 10am on the dot. Tickets are for performances two weeks later and you can only book one pair per production. For more information and to sign up for alerts click here.
