Jukebox musical On Your Feet!, based on the music of 26-time Grammy Award winners Gloria and Emilio Estefan, will come to the West End next year, it has been announced.

Based on the life of one of the most successful Latin crossover acts in American music, On Your Feet! follows the Estefans' rise to fame from their childhood in Cuba, living on the streets of Miami and through to global superstardom. It features songs including "Rhythm is Gonna Get You", "Conga", "Get On Your Feet", "Don't Want To Lose You Now" and "1-2-3".

Gloria Estefan said "The UK has not only been an important source of beautiful music for our world, but has also played an integral role in my own personal musical history. To have our lifestory playing on the stage of the iconic London Coliseum is a dream I could never have imagined coming true. I am thrilled and excited beyond words!."

Directed by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Hairspray), the piece had its Broadway premiere in 2015, where it was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Choreography and ran for two years before closing in 2017. It has a book by Alexander Dinelaris with choreography by Olivier Award-winner Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys).

The show will run for a limited season at London's Coliseum from 14 June 2019, after completing seven performances at Curve, Leicester.
