Sadie Sink is an American actress who began her career on the Broadway stage. Her theatre credits include playing the title role in Annie (2012–2014) and portraying the young Queen Elizabeth II in The Audience (2015) alongside Helen Mirren. She returned to Broadway in 2025 to star in John Proctor Is the Villain, earning a Tony Award nomination.

On television, Sink is best known for her breakout role as the bold and resilient Max Mayfield in the globally popular Netflix sci-fi series, Stranger Things (2017–present), a role that garnered her widespread critical acclaim, particularly for its fourth season. She also had earlier appearances in series like The Americans and American Odyssey.

In film, she made her debut in the biographical sports drama Chuck (2016). Notable film roles include the horror trilogy Fear Street (2021) and the lead in Taylor Swift’s short film, All Too Well. Sink received significant praise and a Critics’ Choice Movie Award nomination for her portrayal of Ellie in Darren Aronofsky’s critically acclaimed drama, The Whale(2022)
