Dawn French

As a Writer, Comedian and Actor, Dawn French has been entertaining audiences and making them laugh for over 40 years.

She has starred in some of the UK’s most beloved television shows, including French and Saunders, The Vicar of Dibley, Jam & Jerusalem, Roger and Val Have Just Got In, Delicious and The Trouble with Maggie Cole.

Dawn’s four novels—A Tiny Bit Marvellous, Oh Dear Silvia, According to Yes and Because of You—are all Sunday Times bestsellers. Her non-fiction titles, including her memoir Dear Fatty and Me. You. A Diary, have also topped the charts. Her last book, The Tw*t Files, became another Sunday Times bestseller and was released in paperback in 2023.

In 2021, she reunited with Jennifer Saunders to launch the award-winning podcast French & Saunders: Titting About, available exclusively on Audible. The sixth series premiered in 2025.

Dawn completed two sold-out UK tours, as well as a successful Australia and New Zealand leg of her critically acclaimed one-woman show Dawn French is a Huge Tw*t.

She currently stars in new BBC sitcom Can You Keep A Secret?, alongside Mark Heap.
