Ben Mabberley

Ben is an actor and musician originally from Macclesfield, Cheshire.

Training: Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and the National Youth Music Theatre. Credits whilst training include: Al Deluca in A Chorus Line (RCSSD), Arthur in DR@CULA (RCSSD and Leicester Curve), Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet (RCSSD), Charlie Kringas in Merrily We Roll Along (RCSSD), Arthur Pendragon in Pendragon (NYMT, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds) and Nibbles in West Side Story (NYMT, Manchester Victoria Warehouse). During his time at NYMT, Ben originated the role of ‘Alf’ in BRASS by Benjamin Till, which won the UK Theatre Award for Best New Production in 2014.

Theatre credits Include: Perkins/1st Cover Eddie in Blood Brothers (UK Tour), Tony/1st Cover Kid Pop in Rehab The Musical (West End), Tex/Swing in Tarantino Live (Riverside Studios Hammersmith), Jeter/1st Cover Willard in Footloose (UK Tour), Band/1st Cover Billy in Dirty Dancing (UK tour), Dick Whittington in Dick Whittington (Leeds City Varieties), Prince Florizel in Red Riding Hood (Leeds City Varieties), Ivor in Nurse! The Screens! (Stephen Joseph Theatre) and himself in The Live Music Quiz (Dramatic Events).

Film credits: Ben also appeared in a two episode Hollyoaks special for Lime Pictures (Channel 4). The episode, titled “The Long Walk Home”, went on to win a National Television Award in 2023.
