Prohibition era in New York, rival gangsters Fat Sam and Dandy Dan are at loggerheads. As custard pies fly and destructive ‘splurge guns’ wreak havoc, Bugsy Malone, a penniless ex-boxer and all-round nice guy, falls for Blousey Brown, an aspiring singer.
