The Producers has landed in the West End – and the cast have mucked in to get the front-of-house signage up!

Playing at the Garrick Theatre from late August, the new season follows a sell-out spell at the Menier Chocolate Factory in south London, where the production originated.

It tells the tale of two producers attempting to win big by staging the worst musical they could imagine – only for it to turn into an unexpected hit. In a glowing four-star review, the Menier production was described as “hugely entertaining.”

Set to star are Andy Nyman as Max Bialystock, Marc Antolin as Leo Bloom, Trevor Ashley as Roger de Bris, Raj Ghatak as Carmen Ghia, Harry Morrison as Franz Liebkind and Joanna Woodward as Ulla. All are reprising their roles from the original Menier run.

You can see Nyman and Antolin in action:

Joining them are Alex Lodge (Storm Trooper), Kelsie-Rae Marshall (Hold-Me-Touch-Me), Megan Armstrong, Olly Christopher, Gabrielle Cocca (dance captain), Nolan Edwards, Michael Franks, Matt Gillett (resident director), Esme Kennedy, Sinead Kenny, Josh Kiernan (assistant dance captain), Kate Parr, Emma Robotham-Hunt, Pierce Rogan, Hollie Jane Stephens, Jermaine Woods and Ryan Pidgen (standby Max).

The production team includes director Patrick Marber, choreographer Lorin Latarro, set designer Scott Pask, costume designer Paul Farnsworth, lighting designer Tim Lutkin, sound designer Paul Groothuis, and wigs, hair and makeup designer Betty Marini. Gareth Valentine is musical supervisor and dance arranger, with Matthew Samer as musical director and orchestrators Larry Blank and Mark Cumberland. Lily Dyble is associate director, with Michaeljon Slinger as associate choreographer (US) and Anna Woodside as associate choreographer (UK).

Harvey Ebbage is associate lighting designer, Simon King is associate sound designer, and John Reddel is assistant musical director, while Matt Gillett serves as resident director. The production team also includes production manager Patrick Molony, props supervisor Jamie Owens, costume supervisor Sabrina Cuniberto, orchestral manager James Gorman and keyboard programmer David Chin.
