A new spin on David Mamet’s classic

The Old Vic has announced a new staging of Glengarry Glen Ross.
The production will be directed by Patrick Marber and will feature an all-female cast.
The play, written by David Mamet, premiered at the National Theatre in 1983 and was later adapted into a film in 1992.
It follows a group of real estate agents competing in a sales contest, where only the top performers are rewarded and the rest face dismissal. The work received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1984.
It will run from 4 June to 18 July 2026, with a press night on 17 June.
Marber previously directed a revival of the play on Broadway in 2025, and this production marks his debut at the Old Vic. Artistic director Matthew Warchus is presenting the show as part of his final season at the venue, with all productions staged in the round.
Casting has yet to be announced. Tickets go on sale to members on 13 April, with general booking opening on 14 April.
