The Comedy About a Bank Robbery is to extend in the West End, it has been announced.

The news comes as the show celebrates its third birthday, with a total of 1423 performances at the Criterion Theatre.

Mischief's comedy will now run until Sunday 3 May 2020, with tickets for the new period on sale later today.

The current cast for the show includes Samson Ajewole (Cooper), Jenna Augen (Ruth Monaghan), Jack Baldwin (Officer Randal Shuck), Leonard Cook (Robin Freeboys), Chris Leask (Everyone Else), Emily Stott (Caprice Freeboys), Gareth Tempest (Mitch Ruscitti), Jack Whittle (Sam Monaghan) and Jean-Luke Worrell (Warren Slax).

The show, which is written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, is set in 1958 where an escaped convict is set on pocketing a priceless diamond, kept at the Minneapolis City Bank.

Mischief Theatre also has a UK tour of the show which is playing until 8 June and The Play That Goes Wrong is booking at the Duchess Theatre in the West End until October 2019. Two new shows by the company – Groan Ups and Magic Goes Wrong – will open in later in the year at the Vaudeville Theatre.
