Today, it was revealed that Sylvia will be embarking on its first UK tour in 2026, with its final stop set to be the Royal Albert Hall in London. You can read more about the news here.

WhatsOnStage was recently invited to the London venue to secretly meet up with co-writer, director and choreographer Kate Prince and returning cast members Sharon Rose (in the titular role of Sylvia Pankhurst) and Beverley Knight (who received her first Olivier Award win for her performance as Emmeline Pankhurst) and speak candidly about “Sylvia 3.0” following its previous workshop and world premiere runs at the Old Vic in 2018 and 2023, respectively.

The trio also spoke about the historical importance of the musical being staged at the legendary venue after the Suffragettes were banned from the building in 1913. You can watch the exclusive video below:
