The ceremony will take place in London on 12 October

Steps and musical theatre star Faye Tozer will once again present the UK Theatre Awards, following her hosting debut last year.
Tozer’s many stage credits include the likes of Dita Von Teese’s Diamonds and Dust, 101 Dalmatians, 42nd Street, Singin’ In The Rain, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, In The Spotlight, Over The Rainbow, Me and My Girl, Love Shack, Saucy Jack and The Space Vixens and Tell Me on a Sunday.
Claire Walker and Hannah Essex, Co-CEOs of Society of London Theatre and UK Theatre, commented: “We are delighted that Faye Tozer is returning for the UK Theatre Awards 2025. As well as being a pop icon, Faye is herself a musical theatre superstar and was a phenomenal host at last year’s Awards, bringing huge warmth and good humour to the proceedings.
“We are so excited to celebrate another incredible year of theatre across the UK, with the support of our headline sponsor Encore and all our partners. We look forward to recognising the outstanding achievements of our members and the enormous contribution they make to communities throughout the UK.”
The awards, which have been running for over 30 years, recognise creative excellence both on and off the stage in theatres across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. They include the Outstanding Contribution to British Theatre accolade and the Most Welcoming Theatre Award. The 2025 nominees for the latter are Birmingham Rep, Northampton’s Royal and Derngate and Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot.
The full list of nominations for the UK Theatre Awards 2025 will be announced on Thursday 18 September, with the ceremony taking place on Sunday 12 October at 8 Northumberland Avenue.
