Shakespeare’s classic comedy is coming to Southwark Playhouse in September
Casting has been announced for As You Like It at the Southwark Playhouse, which runs this Autumn to mark the Bard's 450th birthday.
Sally Scott (Sense and Sensibility, Boeing Boeing) will play feisty leading lady Rosalind, Harry Livingstone (The Glass Menagerie) her would-be lover Orlando and Simon Lipkin (Rock of Ages, I Can't Sing!) plays Touchstone.
Joining them them will be Kaisa Hammarlund (A Little Night Music) as Celia, Joanna Hickman as Phebe and Samuel Townsend as Silvius.
The production will be directed by Derek Bond (Floyd Collins). Design is by Emma Bailey, with a score by Jude Obermüller and lighting by Sally Ferguson.
Completing the cast are Dominic Gerrard, Richard Albrecht, Minal Patel and Steven Crossley.
As You Like It opens at the Southwark Playhouse on 18 September and runs until 18 October.
