Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced special events for summer 2023, featuring a lineup of comedy, theatre, music, and outdoor cinema.

The comedy shows will include Alistair Green with What Are We Like Eh? on 28 May, Tim Key’s Mulberry on 4 June, Bridget Christie and Friends on 9 July, and Sara Pascoe’s Success Story on 13 August. All performances will take place at 7:45 or 8:30pm.

Returning to the Open Air Theatre for 2023 is the award-winning comedy Austentatious: An Improvised Jane Austen Novel on 16 July. The cast will improvise a hilarious new Jane Austen novel inspired entirely by a title from the audience. Live outdoor music will also be featured with the BBC Big Band’s Summer Swing on 3 September. The internationally acclaimed band will be joined by vocalists Claire Martin and Iain Mackenzie for an evening of swinging classics.

The events will also feature two outdoor screenings: the Luna Cinema will present Elvis on 20 August and the 45th anniversary screening of Grease on 10 September.

Select productions from the season are on sale now.
