A variety of stage names will be involved in the film

The cast joining award-winning performer Cynthia Erivo in the film adaptation of Suzie Miller’s award-winning play Prima Facie been revealed.
First seen in the West End and on Broadway starring Jodie Comer (who will take the show on tour next year), the film is set to follow a highly successful barrister whose life is derailed by an experience involving sexual assault.
Produced on stage by Empire Street Productions, WhatsOnStage’s Sarah Crompton labelled the show “an unforgettable moment of theatre.”
BAFTA winner Susanna White (Star Wars: Andor) directs, while Miller adapts her own stage play, first seen in Australia in 2020, for the screen.
Joining Erivo will be Daniel Ings (The Gentlemen), Elizabeth Dulau (Andor), Noma Dumezweni, Toheeb Jimoh, Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful), Sarah Junillon (Red Eye), Elliot Levey, and Simon Russell Beale.
The film has wrapped production, with a release date to be revealed.
Erivo can next be seen on stage in Dracula, running at the Noël Coward Theatre.
