Photos released for Masquerade, the immersive Phantom of the Opera take in New York

Take a first look at Masquerade, New York’s upcoming immersive revival of Phantom of the Opera.

Now in previews in New York, the show is based on the iconic musical of the same name, now reconfigured for audiences to wander through and experience across multiple floors of a building.

The cast of Masquerade includes Jeff Kready, Telly Leung, Hugh Panaro, Kyle Scatliffe, Clay Singer, and Nik Walker as the Phantom and Haile Ferrier, Erin LeCroy, Francesca Mehrotra, Riley Noland, Kaley Ann Voorhees, and Anna Zavelson as Christine Daae.

The cast of Masquerade alsi includes Alaska, Laura Lee Anderson, Baby Byrne, Nicholas Edwards, Gabriella Enriquez, Nkrumah Gatling, Francisco Javier González, Cooper Grodin, Maxfield Haynes, Bryan Hernandez-Luch, Satomi Hofmann, Kody Jauron, Maree Johnson, Tia Karaplis, Nathan Keen, Joe Kerr, Jacob Lacopo, Rawb Lane, Raymond J Lee, Claire Leyden, Georgia Mendes, Sami Merdinian, Anna Monoxide, Betsy Morgan, Charles Osborne, Chris Ryan, Paul Adam Schaefer, Phumzile Sojola, Jeremy Stolle, Jack Sullivan, Olivia Tarchick,  Andrew Wojtal, Nikita Yermak and Kevin Zambrano.

Directed by Diane Paulus, the creative team of Masquerade will include choreographers Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Gypsy Snider, Marc Kimelman, music team members William Waldrop and Lee McCutcheon, designers Scott Pask (sets), Emilio Sosa (costumes), Ben Stanton (lighting), Brett Jarvis (sound), Kathy Fabian (props), J. Jared Janas (hair, wigs, and makeup), Skylar Fox (illusions), and Kate Lumpkin, Hunter Bird, James Fluhr, Jessie Flynn, and Nicola Formichetti.

Masquerade is based on the original musical The Phantom of the Opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart, additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe and book by Richard Stilgoe and Webber. Masquerade is presented by arrangement with The Really Useful Group Limited.

The show has also extended its run, now playing through to 1 February 2026.
