Images have been released of the new cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Replacing Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione and Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley will be Jamie Glover, Rakie Ayola and Thomas Aldridge respectively.

The images show the new cast in costume, complete with wands, ahead of their first performance at the Palace Theatre this week on 24 May.

Parker and Dumezweni both won WhatsOnStage and Olivier Awards for their performances originating the roles, while the show itself garnered awards including Best Director for John Tiffany and Best Play.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series, based on an original idea by JK Rowling and written by Jack Thorne. The piece picks up as Harry Potter is married and working in the Ministry of Magic.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is currently running at the Palace Theatre until 22 July 2018. The next release of tickets will be autumn 2018.
