If you’re a little confused how to secure tickets for the smash hit show, we’ve broken it down to help you out
There's no denying it, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a big stonking success with muggles and critics alike (including our own). Which unfortunately means that getting a ticket is trickier than defeating He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. So as our own little helping spell, below is a few options on how you can nab yourself one of the hottest tickets in town.
General On Sale
The large majority of performances are all sold out. But it's worth keeping your fingers on the mouse and checking Twitter and Facebook for surprise ticket releases. Also, the show is likely to keep extending at the Palace Theatre, so watch out for announcements for new on sale dates.
Prices for general tickets are as follows: £30, £70, £100 or £130 for a seat for both Part One and Part Two of the play; £15, £35, £50 or £65 if bought separately.
The next batch of tickets will be released on Autumn 2017 – currently you can book up until 22 July 2018. Tickets will be available from the production's official website.
Friday Forty- reduced price weekly lottery tickets
Every Friday at 1pm there is a weekly online release of 40 tickets priced at £20 per part. These are for the following week’s performances and situated in the stalls.
Returns
The production accepts returns up to 48 hours in advance, so it is worth keeping an eye on the show's official website. They also open seats on the day, so you could always join the returns queue at the theatre itself.
Performance schedule
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can see Part One at 2pm and Part Two at 7.30pm. On Sundays, Part One starts at 1pm and Part Two starts at 6.30pm. Part One starts at 7.30pm on Thursdays, and Part Two starts at the same time on Fridays.
For the schedule of performances check the official website.
