Alfred Uhry and Jason Robert Brown’s Tony Award-winning musical, set in a paper mill, will come to the Frogmore paper mill in Hemel Hempstead
Theatre group Vivo D'Arte will bring the Tony Award-winning musical Parade to a working paper mill in Hertfordshire.
Audiences will be led around the paper mill during an immersive performance of Alfred Uhry and Jason Robert Brown’s classic.
The musical dramatises the real-life trial and subsequent murder by lynchmob of Jewish factory manager Leo Frank in 1913, who was accused of the rape and murder of a 13-year-old employee. Much of the action is set in a paper mill.
Frogmore paper mill is the world's oldest mechanised paper mill – the birthplace of paper's industrial revolution. Today it is still a working paper mill.
The cast is yet to be announced.
