Original Hamilton cast to reunite for Tony Awards performance

The original cast of Hamilton will perform at the Tony Awards next month.

The annual prizegiving, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, will be held on 8 June at Radio City Music Hall, celebrating a vibrant and competitive Broadway season.

Participating in this landmark performance from the show are Carleigh Bettiol, Andrew Chappelle, Ariana DeBose, Alysha Deslorieux, Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Sydney James Harcourt, Neil Haskell, Sasha Hutchings, Christopher Jackson, Thayne Jasperson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Javier Muñoz, Leslie Odom Jr, Okieriete Onaodowan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Phillipa Soo, Seth Stewart, Betsy Struxness, Ephraim Sykes, and  Voltaire Wade-Greene.

Topping the nominations this year are Buena Vista Social ClubDeath Becomes Her, and Maybe Happy Ending, each earning ten nods, including Best Musical.

Dead Outlaw and Sunset Boulevard also stood out with seven nominations each. Special honours include a Lifetime Achievement Award for Harvey Fierstein and a Regional Theatre Tony Award for The Muny.
