Mamma Mia! extends West End run into 2027

Mamma Mia! has confirmed its extension at the Novello Theatre.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! features a book by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography by Anthony Van Laast.

The much-loved show currently stars Sara Poyzer, who has returned to the role of Donna, having played the part for over 12 years in the West End, on tour and internationally. Poyzer is joined by Kate Graham as Tanya, Nicky Swift as Rosie, Richard Standing as Sam, Daniel Crowder as Harry, Tamlyn Henderson as Bill, Ellie Kingdon as Sophie, George Maddison as Sky, Chloe Gentles as Ali, Foxy Valentine as Lisa, Joshua de La-Garde as Eddie and Benjamin Dawson as Pepper. Emma Odell covers Donna at certain performances.


Also in the cast are Franky Attard, Matthew Barrow, Ella Beaumont, Jack Bromage, Maddy Cameron, Dennis Cousins, Joseph Craig, Josh Crowther, Andrew Gallo, Lawrence Guntert, George Hinson, Genevieve Jameson, Laura Jayne-Hardie, Deena Kapadia, Matthew Mori, Tom Parsons, Meghan Peploe-Williams, Emily Squibb, Ria Turner and Maisie Waller. Waller participated in the TV talent search show Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream.

The musical is now the third longest-running West End show of all time. Since its 1999 premiere, it has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide and adapted into two hit films. It is now booking until 13 March 2027, when it will celebrate its 27th birthday in the West End.

A UK tour is also currently running through to January 2027.
