The Manchester venue has announced its next production
The cast has been announced for the new musical Closets, which opens at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester this summer.
Based on the award-winning short film of the same name, the musical is about the history of LGBTQ rights told with a time-travelling closet. The piece features a mix of pop music numbers and contemporary ballads.
The musical's cast will be composed of The X Factor finalist Lloyd Daniels, Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton, Sam Retford (Ackley Bridge) and Kim Tatum (Dead and Breathing), Sophie Anne-Ellicott and Georgia Conlan.
The piece has lyrics and book by Lloyd Eyre-Morgan and Neil Ely, with music by Ashley M A Walsh and choreography by William Whelton (Yank!, Pippin).
Closets runs at the Hope Mill Theatre from 14 to 23 August.
