LEAKED: The Play That Goes Wrong producers in epic marketing fail

Seems like nothing can go right for the people at Mischief Theatre

You would think that following their WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Comedy last year, the guys at Mischief Theatre wouldn't have a problem remembering who we are. But that doesn't seem to be the case according to a recent invite we received.

Adding to a list of marketing catastrophes the team has accrued since moving into the Duchess Theatre earlier this year – which includes printing adverts upside down and a rather lame attempt at a Christmas photo (below) – the motley crew of amateurs sent the above letter from 594 years in the past to invite us to their production of The Ploy that Goes Wrong.

After recently announcing an extension to September 2015 and a transfer for their Edinburgh hit Lights! Camera! Improvise!, we can only hope they have more luck in the new year.
