A starry cast will launch the Broadway horror play Grey House , coming to New York’s Lyceum Theatre beginning on 29 April.
Joe Mantello directs Levi Holloway’s new work, which will kick off the 2023-2024 season, opening on 30 May.
Leading the company are Laurie Metcalf (Lady Bird), Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk), Paul Sparks (House of Cards), Sophia Anne Caruso (Beetlejuice), and Millicent Simmonds (A Quiet Place) .
The play is described as follows: When a couple crashes their car in the mountains, they seek shelter in an isolated cabin. Its inhabitants, though somewhat unusual, are eager to make their guests feel right at home. But as the blizzard outside rages on and one night turns into several, the couple becomes less and less sure of what’s true—about their hosts, themselves, and why that sound in the walls keeps getting louder. It premiered at A Red Orchid in Chicago.
The creative team includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Rudy Mance (costume design), Natasha Katz (lighting design), Tom Gibbons (sound design), Or Matias (music Supervisor and a cappella arranger), and Camille A Brown (choreography).
