Jamie Lloyd's epic Pinter at the Pinter season, which sees all 20 of Harold Pinter's one-act plays performed over the space of six months, had its launch last night in the West End.

Two sets of one-act plays (seven plays in total) have been split between two casts, with Antony Sher, Paapa Essiedu, Kate O'Flynn, Maggie Steed, Jonjo O'Neill and Michael Gambon's voice part of the first cast, with David Suchet, Hayley Squires, Russell Tovey and John Macmillan part of the second cast.

WhatsOnStage critic Sarah Crompton praised both of the casts in her reviews, saying: "I suspect Pinter at the Pinter is going to become a collector's item."

The season continues until February 2019, with performers including Meera Syal, Lee Evans, Tamsin Greig, Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer featuring in productions.
