The one-night-only event will take place in May

A one-night gala event celebrating the work of Jim Steinman is heading to the London Coliseum this May.
Produced by Tony Award nominee Tyce Green, who previously recorded with Steinman, alongside executive producers Darren Bell and Sam Quested, the show is entitled Total Eclipse and will feature a plethora of guest vocalists performing with the English National Opera’s orchestra and a live rock band.
The initial line-up includes Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical alumni Glenn Adamson and Danielle Steers, alongside Green (American Psycho, Next to Normal) himself. Additional guest stars will be revealed in due course.
The setlist will include all-new orchestrations of such Steinman favourites as “Bat Out of Hell”, “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, “Holding Out for a Hero”, “I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, and “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now”, among others.
Total Eclipse is musically directed and conducted by Jack Bennett (Here & Now) and directed by Chris Clegg (The Diana MixTape). It will take place at the Coliseum on Sunday, 3 May 2026, with tickets on sale from noon tomorrow, 30 January.
