Timothy Sheader directs this reimagining of Benjamin Britten’s opera
We popped into rehearsals for Benjamin Britten's The Turn of the Screw which opens at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre this month.
Elgan Llŷr Thomas plays Peter Quint alongside Anita Watson as Governess in the revival of Britten's reworking of Henry James' classic novella, which tells the story of unearthly encounters at a remote country house, and of a young governess desperate to protect her children.
Conducted by Toby Purser the production will be directed by Open Air Theatre's artistic director Timothy Sheader.
