Four new productions join the platform!

National Theatre at Home has revealed new titles joining the streaming platform.
Audra McDonald, Imelda Staunton, Clive Owen and Saskia Reeves are among the award-winning names set to feature in the new releases, as well as a family favourite.
End starring Owen and Reeves, is the final play in David Eldridge’s trilogy exploring love and relationships. Our critic wrote, “It’s an astonishingly realised portrayal of the way human beings can grope towards an expression of the real things they are feeling.” Directed by Rachel O’Riordon, it will be available to watch from 24 March.
After that, the National’s festive offering, Ballet Shoes, will be available to watch worldwide from 31 March. Katy Rudd’s production received the full five stars from WhatsOnStage’s chief critic Sarah Crompton, who called it a “show with heart, soul and a flurry of movement to sweep you away.” Noel Streatfeild’s beloved children’s novel was adapted by Kendall Feaver and performed on the Olivier stage in 2024 and 2025.
WhatsOnStage Award winner Staunton stars opposite her daughter Bessie Carter in a new revival of Bernard Shaw’s Mrs Warren’s Profession. Directed by Dominic Cooke, the previously censored play ran in the West End last year. It will be available on National Theatre at Home from 14 April.
Audra McDonald: I Am What I Am (Director’s Cut) joins the platform from 28 April. It features the multi-award-winner performing Broadway hits, including new concert footage from Gypsy. Recorded from The London Palladium, McDonald is accompanied by a 40-piece London Musical Theatre Orchestra directed by music director Andy Einhorn.
