Gleeson, who starred in the HBO series as villain Joffrey Baratheon for three years, will perform alongside Aaron Heffernan and Eoghan Quinn, with live music played by Cameron Macaulay.

The family-friendly show, which is co-written by Gleeson, was first seen at the Edinburgh Fringe last year.

"Bears In Space is a sci-fi comedy powerhouse with a heart of gold," said Gleeson.

"It will not just make you smile at the comedy and cool-world creation but also at the themes of love and loyalty that underpin it.

"Perhaps the moral we would like people to walk away with is the basic idea that others are fundamental to a fulfilled life."

Bears in Space runs at Soho Theatre from 3 to 22 August 2015.
