Derren Brown will return to the West End in September as part of the ongoing UK tour of his new show, Underground.

Based upon a collection of highlights from his previous work, Underground will run at the Playhouse Theatre from 11 September to 14 October. Brown performed his previous show, Miracle, at the Palace Theatre two years ago.

The stage magician and illusionist, who has won two Olivier Awards and one BAFTA for his work so far, is currently touring Underground across the UK, visiting cities including Birmingham, Edinburgh, Woking and Oxford before settling in London. Underground is based upon Brown’s personal selection of his favourite and most notable stage tricks.

Brown has recently completed a US tour of his show Secret, which debuted at the Atlantic Theater Company in New York. Secret is the eighth stage show of Brown's career since his first tour, Derren Brown Live, premiered in 2003. In 2016 he broadcast Pushed to the Edge on Channel Four, an examination of social coercion and conformity in the modern world.

Derren Brown: Underground runs at the Playhouse Theatre from 11 September to 14 October. The show is currently on tour, visiting Edinburgh, Oxford, Birmingham and Woking.
