The star of stage and screen has a role in the forthcoming flick

Colman Domingo has taken to social media to announce he will play a pivotal role in the forthcoming Wicked: For Good film.
Wicked: For Good is set to sail into UK cinemas on 21 November 2025, almost exactly a year after the record-setting part one.
Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey and more will all return, while famous numbers from act two include “For Good”, “As Long As You’re Mine” and “No Good Deed”.
Based on the hit novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, Wicked and Wicked: For Good tells the story of two unlikely university friends in the land of Oz, one destined to become Glinda the Good and the other, the Wicked Witch of the West. Wicked writers Winnie Holzman (book) and Stephen Schwartz (score) are collaborating with Dana Fox on the screenplay.
Domingo will voice the Cowardly Lion in the film, joining Dorothy, the Tin Man and Scarecrow on their journey along the Yellow Brick Road (a backdrop for the plights of Elphaba and Glinda during the film). Casting for Dorothy has not yet been publicly revealed.
If part one was a magical high school comedy, then part two, set five years later, is a political thriller tinged with mysticism and sorcery. Both films were captured in the UK at the same time, meaning the cast had to wear “part one” and “part two” hats interchangeably.
