Peter Egan and Alex Waldmann will lead the London premiere production
Casting has been announced for the London premiere of Robert Holman's Jonah and Otto, which opens at the Park Theatre later this month.
Tim Stark will direct Peter Egan and Alex Waldmann as two men who, over a chance meeting, explore themes ranging from love to magic.
Jonah and Otto, which was first seen at the Royal Exchange in 2008, will be the first Holman play to be produced in London since Making Noise Quietly at the Donmar Warehouse in 2012.
It's billed as "a humane, funny and ultimately haunting exploration of what it is to be male and to be quintessentially English."
Egan returns to the London stage after his recent appearance in Other Desert Cities at the Old Vic. Waldmann's recent credits include The Duchess of Malfi in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and As You Like It for the RSC.
Jonah and Otto opens at the Park on 29 October (previews from 28 October) and runs until 23 November.
