The Almeida Theatre has announced the full cast for The Line of Beauty, a new adaptation of Alan Hollinghurst’s Booker Prize-winning novel.

It has been adapted by Jack Holden and is directed by Michael Grandage.
Set in London in the summer of 1983, the play follows Nick Guest as he moves into the Notting Hill home of his university friend Toby. There he becomes entangled in the world of Toby’s father Gerald, a newly elected Conservative MP, along with Gerald’s wife Rachel and daughter Cat. As Nick navigates political dinners, country estates and private parties, he finds himself caught between desire, class and public image in a rapidly shifting Britain.
