Casting is by Becky Paris CDG, Head of Casting at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Roughan said the production will examine the play through a contemporary lens, exploring its turbulent social and environmental setting and the darker tones within the story.
Following a successful collaboration on Henry V, this production continues the partnership between Headlong and Shakespeare’s Globe. It forms part of Headlong’s wider 2024/25 programme celebrating its 50th anniversary, which also includes tours of The House Party and A Raisin in the Sun.
