It's 25 years since Barrie Rutter founded Northern Broadsides with the sole intention of playing Richard III. Now the Hullensian actor and director returns to the Hull Truck to mount a revival production as part of the Hull UK City of Culture 2017.

We sat down with Rutter to find out more about the production, why he decided to return to it and what he thinks of the much-revered king.

Richard III runs at the Hull Truck Theatre from 4 to 27 May 2017.
