The contestants have been revealed for the upcoming musicals TV show
The seven celebrities who will be performing on stage in ITV's upcoming show All Star Musicals have been revealed.
Hosted by John Barrowman, the evening will see seven individuals learn iconic musical theatre numbers and perform them for one night only in the West End in front of a live audience.
Appearing on the night will be broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh, money expert Martin Lewis, Only Fools and Horses actress Tessa Peake Jones, I'm A Celebrity Extra Camp host Joel Dommett, comedian London Hughes, Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank and Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh.
Each of the celebrities will be mentored by Elaine Paige, with a panel comprised of Kristin Chenoweth, Kevin Clifton and Trevor Dion Nicholas then scoring the performances at the Palladium. The scores will then be combined with an audience vote and a champion will be revealed.
Titchmarsh said: "I've always loved musicals and while I have always resisted taking part in any 'reality' TV shows I found the chance of being able to sing on the stage of the Palladium irresistible. That said, I'm now scared stiff!"
An air date for All Star Musicals is to be announced. The show will also see a duet featuring Paige and Chenoweth dueting and performances by Barrowman.
