Meet them for the first time, again and again!
Lead casting has been revealed for the stage adaptation of 50 First Dates.
The new show, announced earlier today, is based on the 2004 romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. It follows Henry and Lucy as they fall in love, and he realises she suffers from short-term memory loss.
Written by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen, 50 First Dates will be directed and choreographed by multi-Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw.
Georgina Castle will play art teacher Lucy, who believes every day is Sunday, 13 October, and Josh St Clair will play the womanising Henry.

Nicholaw describes the film as “one of the most beloved romantic comedies of all time.”
He added: “I’m so excited to direct and choreograph the world premiere of this new, funny and romantic show.”
Of the casting, the Tony Award-winner commented: “I’m also thrilled to reunite with Georgina Castle after her phenomenal turn as Regina George in my production of Mean Girls, and to collaborate for the first time with the immensely talented Josh St Clair. I can’t wait for London audiences to fall in love—again and again and again—when we open this September.”
Further cast members are to be announced.
50 First Dates will play at the Other Palace later this year.
